KELSEY GORDON

Kelsey is a strong feminist litigator. She is meticulous and thoughtful in her approach to her cases and always keeps her clients’ needs in focus. She understands that litigation can be intimidating and stressful for clients, and helps her clients to navigate complex processes with dignity.

Kelsey maintains a broad civil litigation practice with two core divisions of practice: cases involving gender-based violence, assault and abuse; and general civil litigation cases that have a gendered aspect to them, including contract disputes, property disputes and employment disputes. Kelsey is passionate about breaking down the systemic and cultural biases in the legal process.

Prior to joining Gillian Hnatiw & Co., Kelsey practiced civil and commercial litigation at two highly-respected Toronto law firms. At these firms, Kelsey gained experience litigating a variety of complex cases, including contract disputes, property disputes and employment disputes. She is experienced in all aspects of the litigation process.

Kelsey has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario and the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Kelsey earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
